Switzerland - Where heaven is a place on earth...

Switzerland

Switzerland has got to rank number one on my list of favourite places to visit. We were bowled over by the alpine beauty and panorama of this picturesque peaks and luxurious countryside were all covered in a heavenly blanket of snow.
A beautiful train(red train) to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe. On the way there are many beautiful lakes in the mountain valleys, and the view are amazingly beautiful.

Keep looking into my blog, if you want to get a glimpse of Switzerland through my lenses....Till then a teaser below....

The country of good chocolates, watches, the Alps, cows and cheese. You might think of Switzerland, but these things don't give the whole picture because they say nothing about swiss people. I got a real taste of Swiss life when spend some time in Switzerland.

Edinburgh - The City of Literature

Edinburgh, Scotland

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland. It is the second populous city in Scotland. Edinburgh has been voted the fourth most beautiful city in the world. There's Gothic architecture all over the place, ancient cathedrals, and historic buildings. All of this is surrounding a castle that is perched high on a hill where you can find great views of the old city and the modern area that surrounds it.

Was in Edinburgh for the Hogmanay Celebration 2015, and I am saying it was truly amazing. I will share a page on Edinburgh.

Keep looking into my blog, if you want to get a glimpse of Edinburgh through my lenses....Till then a teaser below - View of Edinburgh Castle

Sikkim - Beautiful town in the lap of Himalays

My Travel - Gangtok, Sikkim - India

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life I along with my family went to visit this beautiful place of East India, the Lofty Hill, Gangtok.

India is a land of diversity and Sikkim is one such antique diverse element. It is not like any other hill station, Gangtok has a Himalayan ambience with a little pinch of sophistication.

A beautiful city in the valley of Great Himalayas.....!!!

Gangtok is popular place with tourist heading on treks, though the facilities do not reflect the number of international visitors. Highly organised and beautifully maintained, it used to be the Switzerland of the east, Gangtok is a really nice place to unwind. The city resembles the Bhutanese capital, Thimphu. Our next destination was Tsomgo Lake. A beautiful silent lake with green water between the hills. The lake was grave and deep. There we had yak ride. We had a great time there.

The drive was enthralling with the Tista River on one side and the lofty snow covered hills on the other. The slopes and bumps posed threats added our thrill experience. The Tista River is very popular among the adventure freaks. Here people go for rafting, trekking and all sorts of adventure.

A place where self meets soul..!!
